Hello I'm Anna

I started Accrue Bookkeeping in March 2010 in Helensburgh. It has grown from a desk in the corner of my living room to a full-time business that operates from both Helensburgh and Largs and provides services to over 30 small businesses that also extends from Lochgilphead to the West End of Glasgow.

As a business owner I know there are a million things to think about - from getting the product or service just right, to dealing with customers, suppliers, and staff.

Most of my clients come to me having had the best of intentions to keep on top of their accounts,  but the pile just keeps growing, and it can be a daunting task, especially if you are just starting out.

And this is where I can help out, I can get on with taking care of your finances and admin so you can concentrate on what you are good at, running your business.

The trustees first engaged Accrue Bookkeeping, in 2016 and Anna quickly assimilated the complexities and peculiarities of our financial procedures, practices and systems.  Her expertise on Sage became evident and she introduced improvements and changes, which have made it much easier for budget holders and the trustees to manage and track income and expenditure.

Anna works closely with our Treasurer and has brought a professionalism to the way we oversee and monitor our financial affairs, which is recognised by our external accountants and the Independent Examiner of our accounts.   In recent years, she has helped the trustees safely navigate the Charity through choppy financial waters and has been a significant contributor to the sustainability of the support we provide to unpaid carers.
